Caleb Pierre, Assistant Principal

I am excited to embark on this journey with you all! Here is a little background about me.

I began my career in 2016, in Orange County, as part of the opening team for a K-8 charter school. I served as an assistant P.E. coach while completing my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Central Florida. Over the next four years, I served in these various roles: PE Coach, Social Studies Teacher, Team Lead, and SS Department Head.

In 2020, my daughter was born and my world changed. After completing my master’s degree in Ed. Leadership at UCF, my family moved to Mt. Dora and I joined Lake County Schools. I worked at Mount Dora Middle and Leesburg High, serving in the following roles: ELA and Civics teacher, Team Lead, SS Department Head, and Dean of Instruction.

I am excited to be able to work with the students, staff, and families of Aurelia M. Cole Academy to cultivate a school culture that values diversity and creative expression. Together, we will establish a precedent of academic and artistic excellence. Let’s Go Trailblazers!
