Amanda Laios, Assistant Principal

I am Amanda Laios and I am thrilled to be an Assistant Principal at Aurelia Cole Academy. I have been with Lake County Schools since 2012, where I began as a Teacher Assistant. I began teaching 3rd grade at Fruitland Park Elementary in 2015. I also taught Pre-K ESE at Rimes Early Learning. In 2020, I transitioned to Mount Dora Middle. During my time at Mount Dora Middle, I have served as an ESE teacher, ELA teacher, Potential Specialist and I most recently served the Instructional Dean.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Workforce and Program Development from the University of West Florida. I also have a Master's Degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida and I most recently completed my Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

I look forward to serving the students, staff, and parents in this new role. It is going to be a great year at Aurelia Cole Academy! Go Trailblazers!
